Currently Showing: Approaches to Photography

Besides and Beyond

*New for 2009* - At the beginning of 2008, Ken embarked on a photographic journey that marks a watershed in his approach. An ongoing "365" project, one picture a day, every day is now entering a third year and 731+ consecutive days - journaled on Flickr, is presented with delightful mix of humour, philosophy and psychology, examination of our creative processes and challenges to established wisdom, including some beautiful audio-visual. Not to be missed. - 90 mins.

Touching the Light

Ken's photography grew up in the mountains, and his work is more concerned with light and atmosphere than with place, very much in the present moment. In this widely-acclaimed presentation, Ken explores the approaches, techniques and personal philosophy behind his landscape work, and reveals how it is a very different game to that portrayed in the textbooks. - 90 mins.

Travelogues for Mountain and Landscape Enthusiasts

Ken's work is not driven by place but by light and atmosphere. However, travels into wild places lend themselves beautifully to sensitive photo-travelogues, delivered in a light and engaging style. Ken's words are uplifting and meaningful too, leaving you with a sense of involvement and connection both with the subject and your own responses.

Audio-Visuals

With evocative music chosen specially to complement the mood of the images, an audio-visual presentation is much more than a slideshow; it becomes an experience as you let yourself drift and lose yourself in the scenes, unfolding and gently dissolving before you. Peaks of Experience

The long awaited and stunning sequel to Natural Sculptures, with a strong spiritual and personal presence.
