Safe on the Costa Blanca

Unlike one year ago, I can report a safe and incident-free return from Spain. The sharp limestone ridges and dramatic crags of the Costa Blanca and La Marina Alta make a magnificent mountain landscape, and there are several hundred images to be scanned and added to the galleries. I include a taster – “Moonrise over Puig Campana” – to keep you interested, and several aspects of the trip will make interesting reading. Quite a number of you have requested a diary / Plog like last year, but do bear with me; it will take a little while to get it all done, and there will not be the same emotional immediacy of last year’s entry. Thanks to Sam and Rich and Jayne and Ryan at The Orange House for their hospitality, and to Wayne, Steve and H for adding considerably to the second half of the trip with convivial company and not a little beer and garlic …
